Here are some middle class archetypes. The Diligent Squirrel keeps slaving and saving up for harder times, while the Overlord Mommy, goaded by her deep fears of inadequacy, looms and throws her weight around…  Meanwhile, that juvenile sweet tooth, goaded on by candy commercials, never goes away. It ‘matures’ into a commercially-driven yearning for an ever sweeter existence, despite already owning a luxury home with pool. Too much sugarlust leads inevitably to karmic pain in the dentist chair or at the hospital… You reach for normal, optimistic dreams but they’re so hard to get at, behind that ever-intrusive, overhyped sales pitch barrier. It seems Consumerism will never actually satisfy what you really need…
